LASC: JUROR INSTRUCTIONS FOR WEDNESDAY, JULY 24

As a result of the recent ransomware attack, jurors continue to be without access to the MyJuryDuty Portal. To ensure that the Court has sufficient jury coverage tomorrow, Wednesday, July 24, jurors should proceed as follows:

For those who have received summons for jury duty service during the week of July 22, only jurors in Group numbers 5, 6, 87 and 97 and reporting location assigned to the Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center or the San Fernando Courthouse must report at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, July 24.

If your Group number is not 5, 6, 87 or 97 with an assigned reporting location of either the Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center or the San Fernando Courthouse, you do not need to report to court tomorrow.

If you are already serving jury duty and are assigned to a particular case, please follow the reporting instructions given by the judicial officer for that department. Jurors may also call into the Court’s Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system for the most current updates at (213) 972-0970.

Please see below for an example of where you can find the group number on your jury summons.

Please follow the Court on ‘X,’ @LASuperiorCourt, or Instagram, @LASuperiorCourt, for the latest updates, or visit this page for latest information on the Court’s recovery from the ransomware attack.
