CA COURTS: JURISDICTIONAL AMOUNT CHANGES
Effective January 1, 2024, the jurisdictional amount for Unlimited and Limited Civil Cases changed from $25,000 to $35,000. The Small Claims jurisdictional amount has also been increased to $12,500. The filing fees remain the same.
These changes apply to California courts statewide and are shown on the Statewide Civil Fee Schedule.
