ALAMEDA COUNTY SUPERIOR COURT: HIRES NEW PUBLIC INFORMATION OFFICER

Court Notice

NEW POSITION WILL ENHANCE AWARENESS OF COURT PROGRAMS

The Superior Court of Alameda County hired Paul T. Rosynsky as its new Public Information Officer to be the Court’s official spokesperson, manage internal communications, and broaden the public’s understanding of court functions and services.

“We’re excited to have Paul join our team to help tell the story of how the Court plays a vital role in our civic lives,” said Superior Court of Alameda County Executive Officer Chad Finke.

Rosynsky comes to the court system after an award-winning career in journalism, which included 13 years at the Oakland Tribune. As a reporter, Rosynsky covered a wide variety of institutions, including Superior Court of Alameda County.  Before joining the Court, Rosynsky worked for a decade in public relations in both the private and nonprofit sectors.

“I’m honored to be working for the Superior Court of Alameda County and helping increase awareness of how the courts impact us all,” Rosynsky said. “The judicial system is a critical component of our democracy, and it must be transparent and accessible.”

The Superior Court of Alameda County is funded by the State of California and provides an array of programs through its seven divisions, ranging from criminal court to probate court. The court employs more than 650 people, including 71 judges, and operates eight courthouses in Alameda, Berkeley, Dublin, Fremont, Hayward, Oakland (Rene C. Davidson and Wiley E. Manuel), and San Leandro.
