LASC: SUPERIOR COURT OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY CONNECTIVITY ISSUES: UPDATE #2
The Superior Court of Los Angeles County continues to experience system-wide connectivity issues that are impacting the Court’s ability to conduct business. Please see below for urgent updates regarding court services. Further updates will be communicated as the situation is assessed.
Courthouses Remain Open:
- All courthouses and clerk’s offices remain open. Court staff are available to assist and answer questions in person.
Court Cases Calendared for Today:
- Matters unable to be heard today due to connectivity issues will be continued. Litigants whose matters are unable to be heard today will be provided with notice of a continuance date. Last day criminal matters (preliminary hearings and trials) and statutorily sensitive arraignments and hearings in the juvenile division will be addressed.
Electronic Filing (UPDATED):
- The Court’s electronic filing system is also experiencing connectivity issues. Attorneys and litigants experiencing efling issues who believe there is a mandatory filing deadline today, July 19, are instructed to visit the Clerk’s Offices to file in person before the close of business at 4:30 p.m. Parties with non-urgent filings are instructed to file at a later date.
Call Centers Down:
- Due to connectivity issues the Court’s Call Centers are currently down. The Court is working to reestablish connection and will provide further updates later.
The Court continues to assess the issue and is working to reestablish connectivity. More information will be shared when available.
