LIMITED COURT CLOSURE FOR DEPLOYMENT OF NEW CASE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM ON FRIDAY, MARCH 17TH, 2023
The Civil, Probate, Small Claims, Appeals, and Mental Health Clerks’ Office will be closed for purposes of deployment of a new case management system. eDelivery for those case types and for Family Law will be unavailable on Friday, March 17th, 2023.
March 17th, 2023 is not a court holiday, so statutory deadlines for filings will not be extended. However, drop boxes outside the main Ventura Courthouse (Hall of Justice), and the Juvenile Courthouse in Oxnard will be available for filing and submitting papers. Documents placed in the drop boxes by 4:00 PM of Friday, March 17th, 2023, will be considered filed that day.
